A Bit About My Journey

Biography: My journey of dance started seriously at the age of ten. Already passionately aware that I wanted to be a dancer, I attended the highly acclaimed Bush Davies and Elmhurst Ballet stage schools.

At the age of seventeen I auditioned for The Place, London School of Contemporary Dance and was one of four chosen from eighty people. Just as this inspired my confidence, life had another plan. A serious back problem was diagnosed, crushing my dream when I was told I couldn’t continue my dance career.

This was earth-shattering news for me, and though I dived into feelings of hopelessness and depression, I knew I still had to dance. That became my healing path and the beginning of my exploration to find different ways of moving, and at the core, learning to move from the inside out.

Trainings & Explorations:

Creative dance training, the Anna Halprin method.

I have blended all that I have acquired throughout my healing  journey to create a unique fusion of self inquiry through self inquiry, embodiment & free writing to help participants reach a deeper and more profound understanding of themselves, healing their body, mind and soul.

I have over thirty years experience facilitating worshops, retreats & individual sessions.
