A Bit About My Journey

I started this amazing journey of dance seriously at the age of ten when I went to a stage school Bush Davies & later Elmhurst Ballet School. There I studied classical ballet, jazz, tap and contemporary dance, singing, acting & performance. I auditioned for ‘The Place’ London School of Contemporary Dance when I was seventeen. After a successful audition, they discovered I had a back problem I knew nothing about & I was told to stop dancing. I felt like my lifeline had been cut off & I became depressed.

Luckily I couldn’t stop dancing & so I became curious about exploring other ways of moving, discovering that there was a whole world of creative movement out there. In this world, I had to drop my learned movement and move from a deep authentic place, a place of non-judgment and acceptance, from the inside out. I went on to do a creative dance training  based on the Anna Halprin method, dance became my healing journey and I felt inspired to help inspire others. I went on to  do more trainings & attending courses on

Authentic Movement, Contact improvisation, Rebirthing, Trance Dance, 5rhythms, Bio Danza, Creative writing, Grief Counselling, Co Counselling. I’ve recently completed a ten month online personal development training ‘Bring It’ with Jamie Catto.

I’m  also a  death doula & run death Cafe’s in my local area.

I have an eclectic approach, using self inquiry, embodiment, breath-work & free writing & the creative processes to allow our innate body wisdom, our body mind connection to flow through us. This can lead to powerful personal insights & deep healing.

I currently facilitate retreats & workshops in Spain at the alternative holiday centre Cortijo Romero & in the U.K. I also offer online courses focusing on different themes & individual sessions called Movement Maps
