TEA
This
piece explores the relationship between 2 women who
are painfully bound by convention and etiquette.
They dare to overstep the expected norms and
inspire one another. Can they retain a new freedom
in their every day lives?
The image is a metaphor for any person, any where
who has constraints on their freedom of expression,
on their freedom to be all they can be.
CAFÉ
This
piece draws on the array of emotions which
surrounds the bullfight in Spain. Whilst there are
still over 300 arenas across the country, the
‘sport’ is declining in popularity.
This scene is also a portrayal of misplaced
frustration and aggression and the power to
transform it into beauty and harmony.

Entertaining to watch, deeply moving with the portrayal of the bull's death, utterly absorbing as Rebecca writhed and twisted in sympathy, truly becoming the bull, and finally a great time was had by all as we were invited to step beyond just being an audience, play with fans and dance in the ultra violet light, fully joining in the party. We couldn't stop dancing afterwards !"
